Features


  • The RC500 Reverse Circulation Drilling Rig uses high-pressure compressed air to rapidly transport cuttings from the bottom of the well back to the surface through the inner tube of the double-walled drill pipe. This significantly reduces the accumulation of cuttings in the well, effectively preventing wellbore blockage and avoiding unexpected downtime caused by drill string jamming.

  • Thanks to the air-lift circulation principle, the system cuts down heavy mud circulation required in conventional drilling. Less mud inside the borehole lowers friction and drag acting on drill strings and bits, delivering noticeably higher penetration rates and shortening overall project construction cycles.

  • Different from conventional mud rotary drilling that needs massive bentonite and mixing water, gas-powered reverse circulation drilling only needs minimal mud or foaming agent in complex formations. It greatly cuts raw material purchasing expense as well as costs for mud mixing, storage and waste mud disposal on site.

  • Cuttings travel upward via sealed inner drill pipe without long-term contact with bulk drilling mud. Contamination from mud blending is largely avoided, so collected formation samples keep excellent purity. High-quality rock cuttings enable geologists to precisely analyze ore grade, stratigraphic structure and mineral distribution for exploration evaluation.

  • Continuous compressed air filling inside the borehole maintains stable air pressure around the hole wall, offering reliable auxiliary support for loose, fractured and unconsolidated formations. It efficiently mitigates hole collapse risks and cuts down unexpected drilling troubles in tough geological conditions.
  • With drastically reduced mud and chemical additive consumption, waste drilling fluid discharge is minimized, lowering pollution to surrounding soil and water. Meanwhile, drill bits work without persistent abrasion from dense muddy slurry, extending drill bit service life and lowering regular spare part replacement and maintenance costs.
